2021 Rolls Royce Rolls Royce Phantom: Everything you need to know

The Rolls Royce Phantom has been one of the most luxurious cars Rolls Royce has ever made. While the all-new Cullinan surely has become the new favorite, the Phantom is still the dream of many. Keeping that dream alive is the latest 2021 Rolls Royce Phantom.

Starting at $463,350, the 2021 Phantom sedan has nothing out of the ordinary this time. Keeping it simple, the 2021 Rolls Royce Phantom comes in two trims. The standard 4 door Sedan and an extended wheelbase variant, the Phantom extended adding an extra $80,000.

Engine and Performance

Both variants are powered by the same 6.75 L twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing 563 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. Coupled with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, the rear-wheel-drive Phantom can hit 60 mph in 5.1 sec with a top speed of 155 mph.

While acceleration is brisk, the ride quality is heavenly. Having the active air-cushioned suspension, the Phantom glides over any kind of road, absorbing potholes and adjusting to the character of the road.

Despite being a big car, cornering is bliss with little to no body roll at high speeds. The engine is also so smooth that you will hardly feel it running.  And with 300 lbs of sound insulation, the phantom interior is quieter than the quietest nights. After all, the Phantom’s ability to isolate its occupants from any outside experience is what makes it so special.

Interior Comfort

The interior of a Rolls Royce is a piece of art. Customized to the last detail, each and every Rolls Royce is tethered to their owners’ liking. From the real metal accents, the acres of woods, to the high-quality leather and Alcantara covering every inch of the interior, the phantom is uniquely built for each customer.

While the standard Phantom is extraordinarily spacious for a sedan, the Phantom extended wheelbase offers 8.6 inches of additional rear legroom.

And when you are done stretching your legs, the huge list of Phantoms interior features and packages would blow your mind. From having a private gallery to custom-stitched seats, you have it all.

Standard Rolls Royce Phantom feature include:-

  • Power Window
  • Power Steering
  • Instrument Console
  • 4-zone Climate control
  • Adjustable Steering Column
  • Heated Power Seats
  • Multifunction Steering Wheel

And many more.

Infotainment

Coming to infotainment, the Phantom comes with a digital driver’s display, 10.25-inch infotainment screen, radio, navigation, Bluetooth, with apple car play and android auto as an option. Customers can also choose to add a 12-inch display on rear seats with an upgradable 18-speaker audio system.

The center console of the Rolls Royce is covered behind a huge glass cover, making it accessible only through control knobs. Since the UI of the phantom is based on BMW’s iDrive system it is fairly easier to operate.

Safety and Driver-aid features

At last, let’s talk safety. While the Phantom will never be tested by NHTSA or IIHS due to its low sales figures, doesn’t mean Rolls Royce will slack off here. In fact, the Rolls Royce Phantom comes with some of the coolest safety features out there.

Apart from the standard and advanced driver aid features, the Phantom includes an optional tech-night vision, distinct laser light, adaptive cruise control with night vision, etc.

Warranty
